Michael J. Lubowicki, CPA/ABV, CVA is a team member with K2S, PC. Mike managed his own firm from 1989 until January, 1995 when he merged his individual practice into K2S. Mike devotes most of his time to taxes, business valuations and consulting services. He has over 38 years experience as an accountant in public and private practice, including over 18 years experience working with and providing business valuation services and litigation support to closely-held businesses and professional practices.
Mike received his BA in accounting from Gannon University in 1970. He is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. Prior to starting his own firm, Mike worked in public accounting and for Lyons Transportation Lines, Inc. where he rose to be CFO. While Mike was CFO, Lyons was purchased by Sherwin-Williams (a fortune 200 company).
Mike is active in the Erie community serving as Corporator for the Hamot Health Foundation and serving on the Board of Directors and as treasurer for Erie Club. Additionally, Mike is a committee member for the "National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts"www.nacva.com (NACVA) Ideas and Technology Committee.
Previously, Mike served as Treasurer for the St. George Youth Athletic Association; as a volunteer and Committee Member for the Erie Conference on Community Development and as a volunteer and Committee Member for the Presque Isle Lifeguard Association. He was the treasurer for Lake Shore Country Club and a trustee for the Visiting Nurse Association of Erie County.
